Hometown Radio plays classic country favorites from years gone-by. Lewiston’s heritage station provides local news and weather for Nez Perce, Asotin, Clearwater, and Idaho counties and has done so for more than 80 years. KRLC also hosts Idaho’s longest running talk-show, ‘Opinion Please’ every Wednesday morning in addition to multi-year winner and nominee of the Western Music Association DJ of the year, Toe Tappin’ Tommy Tucker and the ‘Snake River Radio Roundup’.

KRLC is privileged to have local classic country music DJ legend Toe Tappin’ Tommy Tucker on the air. Affectionately known as ‘Toes’, Tucker hosts a weekly show that pays homage to classic country music and cowboy heritage and culture. The 2-hour live show usually hosts cowboy poets and live music from artists based all over the Inland Northwest. Tucker is highly acclaimed in the Western Music Association and hosts countless musical events that support western musicians and poetry lovers, such as Spirit of the West and the Cowboy Gathering.

Opinion, Please!

Idaho’s longest-running talk show | Listeners interact with community guests on-air every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to Noon. Hosted in our studio, ‘Opinion Please!’ is the cornerstone of KRLC’s community service effort and is dedicated to addressing the most pressing issues affecting our listeners. Topics of all sorts are covered: charitable organization needs of the Lewis Clark Valley, school levies, City and County maintenance updates, pressing healthcare concerns and the effects of poor air quality, information about Alzheimer’s disease, and event announcements, planning, and zoning.


The Super Sale
The Super Sale is the region’s largest indoor yard sale and auction. It’s held annually in February and attendance reaches nearly 5,000 people, with hundreds of vendors and business with goods on display and ready to buy.

Community Spirit Fireworks
The Community Spirit Fireworks show at Adam’s Field in Clarkston is the best celebration of our Nation’s independence for miles. The 30-year old tradition is fully funded and put together by a non-profit organization made up of IdaVend Broadcasting staff and ownership.

Holiday Heroes Food Drive
The Holiday Heroes Food Drive has been happening for more than five years now and has fed c1 holiday 7ollectively, thousands of families around our region. Each December, we put together food bags that are made available for purchase for one day with the hope of collecting as many as possible. The food drive is done in cooperation with Rosauers grocery of Lewiston, Id. and the Idaho Food Bank.

Community Involvement:

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Show & Shine

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Show and Shine is an annual fundraiser held in the Lewis-Clark Valley to benefit veterans, veteran care facilities, and families of heroes. The Show and Shine is one way supportive civilians can show their appreciation.

Theon  Flag Raising

The Theon Flag raising started in 2016 to honor local veterans. The annual flag raising ceremony and fundraising event held on Memorial Day is in the small community of Theon. The Theon Flag raising ceremony includes the “Missing Man Ceremony’, as well as a silent and live auction with proceeds going to the Idaho Veterans Assistance League-North.

Cruisin’ to Clarkston

The Cruisin’ to Clarkston Show and Shine is a car show in downtown Clarkston, Wash. It gets the community down to Main Street and is a party for all ages. The event is a fundraiser for the Asotin County Food Bank, where monetary and non-perishable food items are also donated.
