Morgan Carson, Director of Promotions and Marketing
Morgan has worked with IdaVend Broadcasting since 2015 as the Promotions Director for The Outlaw 106.9, Y-105 and KRLC 1350 AM and 93.1 FM.
Carson is an alumna of Lewis-Clark State College where she studied Graphic Design and Marketing. An Idaho-travelled young woman, Carson has lived in McCall and graduated from Orofino High School although now lives in Lewiston with her husband and two children. In time away from work, community involvement includes a support role for Beautiful Downtown Lewiston, a leadership role in the Daughters of the Nile organization and has also worked closely with other local, nonprofit entities.
Over the years working in marketing events, giveaways, promotions and more, Carson has worked with clients of the following categories: hospitality management, fast-casual restaurants, municipal organizations, annual events, specialty healthcare, faith-based organizations, auto dealerships, departments of universities, auto repair, wholesale distribution, retail, performing arts organizations and countless nonprofit organizations.
Specialties of our Promotions and Marketing department range from the creation of community events to the preparation and execution of integrated on-air giveaways. Our objective is to create opportunities that benefit our advertisers, our listeners, and our station brands. Among many, some of our Signature Events include: the Community Spirit Fireworks Show, the annual ‘Super Sale’, ‘Holiday Heroes Food Drive’, and the ‘Four-Hour Food Drive’.
Cause marketing offers businesses the opportunity to partner with nonprofits for advertising. This mutually beneficial relationship helps the business develop a positive public image while giving the nonprofit the valuable marketing power otherwise unavailable to them.
Radio Recruitment offers employers an effective channel through which to recruit candidates for open positions. Job announcements on the radio allow employers to reach more diverse and more employable demographics, improving hiring campaign effectiveness.
We maintain relationships with Washington State University, the University of Idaho, Lewis-Clark State College, and the multiple community colleges in our regional media markets. By offering assistance through radio advertising, a presence at events, and hands-on classroom experiences, broadcasting’s knowledge base is passed on to the next generation. Our radio stations also have a unique position collaborating closely with an important demographic that forms our region’s economic base.
